Setting up your workspace

Create the first company workspace, confirm defaults, invite teammates, and prepare the team to receive requests.

Start with the operating team

A workspace represents the company or team responsible for privacy request operations. Configure it around the people who will actually review, assign, fulfill, approve, deliver, and close requests.

  • Confirm the workspace name and support contact details.
  • Invite the initial Admins and responders.
  • Keep at least one active Admin before changing membership or roles.

Prepare for the first request

Before publishing the portal, make sure the team can handle one complete request from intake to closure. A narrow, reliable first workflow is better than a broad setup that nobody owns.

  • Confirm default case owners and escalation paths.
  • Review request types and portal confirmation copy.
  • Test a sample submission before linking the portal publicly.

Product support is available at support@privacyrequests.co. Requesters should contact the company handling the request first because that company controls the case record and response decisions.
